Wincle St. Michael’s Graveyard Trail
There follows a list of names in the Wincle graveyard up to the years 1990, 1991, a list of mentioned places and maps showing the position of the graves. Note the difference between the old graveyard now closed and the new which is on the opposite bank to the church.
The inscriptions on the graves were recorded after painstaking work by the Macclesfield Ferrets and you can see these on the website of The Family History Society of Cheshire who hold the copyright (there might be a small charge) www.fhsc.org.uk
